Larger than black rhino with males weighing up to 2300 kg. They have 2 horns on the face with the front horn being longer. The gestation (pregnancy) period is 16 months after which a single calf weighing about 40 kg is born. Height: 1.8m

Lappetfaced Vulture

Wingspan ~ 3 m. The nest is in trees and measures about 6 ft across. A single, white egg marked with reddish brown is laid. The nestling remains in the nest for about 120 days.

Tis white lion cub is one of only about 40 white lions known to exist. The cub had been abandoned. She’ll never be able to hunt properly because she doesn’t have the camouflage.

“She’s not an albino. Her eyes are blue. Her colouring is the result of a recessive gene.”

White lions were first spotted in South Africa in 1928, proof of their existence was obtained 1975,.

Weight: approximately 70 kg out of an essential 170 kg.
